Basketball Victoria is working with a number of Indigenous organisations to provide better opportunities and pathways for Victorians of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
In recent years Basketball Victoria has launched its Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indigenous Basketball Australia (IBA) to continue our work in this space and help bring further competitions and tournaments to Victoria’s indigenous basketball community.
We can help you develop your association or club’s RAP and engage your local Indigenous organisations and communities to help give additional opportunities to Victoria’s Indigenous basketball players, coaches and administrators.
