NBL 1 South
Game of the Week Coordinator/Producer
NBL1 South are looking for someone to be our Coles Express NBL1 South Game of the Week Coordinator/Producer.
This person would be responsible for:
▪️The three vision kits supplied by NBL1
▪️Attend the nominated Game of the Week venue each round (venue determined by League Mgr).
▪️At the venue, set up the three Game of the Week cameras in accordance with NBL1 requirements, its simple.
▪️Operate one of the cameras on Game of the Week games at a zoomed-in shot from the sideline (follow camera).
Depending on location and time of games, accommodation may be provided along with an honorarium that will be paid for this role.

Basketball Victoria
People and Culture/Legal Assistant
Reporting to the GM People and Culture, the role will act in an administrative capacity for the operation of the People function, supporting all employees across the organisation. Working as a true generalist, the role covers all aspects of People and Culture. This is an exciting opportunity that offers variety and an environment where you can learn and help shape the People function of the organisation. The role will support approximately 70 employees and assist with management of volunteers. The role also acts as a Legal Assistant to the Manager Operations & Governance/ Solicitor to assist with general administration and support to the Tribunal system.

Hoop Time (Primary), Victorian College Championships (VCC), Champions Cup and Spalding 3x3 Challenge (Secondary) Daytime Coordinator positions are now available!
Are you available between the hours of 9am - 3pm? Do you have a passion for basketball and want to get involved on a casual/flexible basis? Do you want to be a part of developing junior basketball in a fun and exciting way, or to be involved in elite secondary school basketball?
To get involved you must be:
• A good communicator with the ability to speak in public.
• Fun, energetic and enjoy a sporting environment with children.
• Able to accurately record results.
• Able to communicate with others.
• Knowledgeable of the game of Basketball.
• Highly organised, punctual and courteous.
• Able to resolve conflict and be proactive in decision-making.
• Willing to travel to venues across Metropolitan Melbourne.
Daytime Coordinators will be required for the following tournaments/competitions across 2022:
3x3 Schools Challenge - April/May and October
VCC - May-July
Champions Cup - August
Hoop Time - May-November.

Technical Officials Program Development Officer
To drive the advancement of Technical Officials by delivering a program focusing on recruitment, safety, training, education, development, pathways, events, culture, wellbeing, finances, reporting and retention. The Technical Officials Program Development Officer will be guided by Basketball Victoria’s State or Regional Program Development Officer to achieve best practice in line with Basketball Victoria’s Member Affiliation agreement. This role will be responsible for delivering Basketball Victoria’s approved education & development either direct to officials or via a program team. This role is flexible in nature to reflect GUB’s operational structure and the hours may vary to deliver desired outcomes.
