We are hiring for a Big V Youth League Women’s Coach for the 2025 season + beyond.
Join us in an exciting period as we deliver on our SUNS 2K26 Strategy, in an important role developing the talent from Juniors and growing them into Seniors.
We are seeking an experienced but contemporary coach, who has demonstrated capabilities in both Big V and VJBL. Importantly, a coach who has successfully developed pathways and nurtured players through those pathways.

Steelers BigV Youth League Men Head Coach Wanted
WPBA SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE: The Western Port Basketball Association (Steelers) has a proud history and is continually striving to be a BigV force on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Youth League Men Head Coach.
The Western Port BigV program put four teams on the floor in 2024 – Championship Men, Division One Women, Youth League 2 Men, and Youth League 2 Women.
Due to this, the BigV Coaches need to have a holistic view of the program and understand that he/she is not only coaching for today but have a clear view on the future by working to develop athletes and coaches in the U18 and U21 teams.

Big V Division One Women Head Coach
The Western Port Basketball Association is continually striving to be a BigV force on the Mornington Peninsula, currently with Championship Men, Division One Women, Youth League Men and Youth League Women squads.
We are seeking a Division One Women Head Coach to develop and sustain a strong core group of players to compete in the BigV competition, whilst building a pathway for Western Port Junior Steelers through our VJBL and Youth League programs, working with our Youth League women’s coach and the directions of the senior representative committee and WPBA general committee.

We are excited to announce that Hawthorn Magic is making a return to the Big V competition in the Youth League Women’s and Youth League Men’s competitions. This marks an exciting chapter for the club as we continue to develop young talent and compete at a high level.
We are now accepting applications for enthusiastic and experienced Head Coaches to lead our Youth League Women’s and Youth League Men’s teams in our first season returning to the Big V competition.
The Youth League Women’s and Youth League Men’s Head Coaches will be responsible for overseeing the development and performance of the Youth League teams. The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors of Coaching to implement a high-performance program that supports individual player development, fosters a team-first environment, and promotes a winning culture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various marketing activities including brand marketing, digital marketing, web strategy, social media marketing governance and the strategic oversight of our sponsorship and club events. This is a dynamic role offering the opportunity to engage with our players, coaches, members and our local Hills and district community. Ultimately we are seeking an individual who is willing and able to elevate the club’s presence both online and offline.
