Wall Of Fame
Featuring the icons of our game, the Basketball Victoria Wall of Fame marks the greatest of the great in Victorian basketball history.
Inductees have included Victorian Basketball Association champion Lindsay Gaze, Australian Boomers legend Andrew Gaze, Australian Opals star Michele Timms, legendary wheelchair basketball pioneer Kevin Coombs and Victoria’s first basketball Olympian Peter Bumbers amongst other illustrious individuals.
Since the Basketball Victoria Wall of Fame was started in 1990, induction to its illustrious club has been reserved for our state’s greatest players, coaches, referees and administrators.
Those who will join the Wall of Fame in years to come will have earned this accolade through decades of tireless work on and off the court and embodying the noble spirit of our game throughout Victoria and beyond.
This is the ultimate honour we can bestow upon Victorian basketball greats, with Basketball Victoria inducting new Wall of Fame members every two years at the Basketball Victoria Awards.
