This team leads Basketball Victoria’s government relations to secure funding for facilities and programs, while also driving strategic planning and tech innovation to support the organisation’s future growth.
Pathways
The Pathways team supports athletes, coaches, and technical officials to reach their goals at every level, from grassroots to international. They lead high-performance programs, coach education, and referee development, ensuring Basketball Victoria’s pathways are world-class programs.
Leagues & Competitions
This team manages all of Basketball Victoria’s participation and representative leagues from beginner programs like Hooptime, to elite competitions like NBL1 South. They handle competition administration by working with associations and players to meet participation standards.
Marketing, Communications & Digital
This team sets the strategy for Marketing, Communications and Digital Services, driving growth and excitement around basketball in Victoria. They promote Basketball Victoria’s programs and amplify the impact of our work across the basketball community and beyond.
Membership and Community Services
Lead key programs across community development, diversity and inclusion (including wheelchair and walking basketball), coach accreditation, and gender equity. They also manage association governance, annual affiliation and actions from Basketball Victoria’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
People & Culture
The People & Culture team ensures everyone at Basketball Victoria is engaged, supported and working well together. They lead recruitment, workplace health & safety and organisational effectiveness, while also championing a strong, child-safe culture across Basketball Victoria and its affiliated associations.
