Spalding has been the Official Gameball of the NBA for over 30 years, and locally have been entrenched and dedicated to the game at all levels, as Official Game ball of Basketball Australia including the Boomers and Opals, as well as the Official Gameball of Basketball NSW, Basketball QLD, Basketball WA, Basketball SA and Basketball ACT.
Providing more Victorians with the opportunity to play more basketball more often, Spalding’s partnership with Basketball Victoria will facilitate the delivery of basketballs across the state; broadening the games’ reach into grassroots areas, clubs and schools. Basketball Victoria and McDonald’s have a 33-year partnership history, one of the longest running sports sponsorships in Australia. As our Official Grassroots Support Partner, McDonald’s will be providing basketballs to schools and community basketball clubs to encourage inclusive participation and an active lifestyle.

SEDA
The Sports Development Program is a joint initiative between Basketball Victoria and SEDA, specifically designed for young people who would like to pursue a career in the sport and recreation industry or other like industries. If you are a year 10, 11 or 12 student you can complete your VCE, VCAL and Certificates III and IV in Sport and Recreation leading to a Diploma of Sport Development. Core curriculum involves theoretical and practical experience in sports administration, marketing, fitness, coaching, event/project management, literacy, numeracy and career planning.

ACE Seating
Bringing seating into the fold, this is the first partnership Basketball Victoria has signed with a seating partner, which will add to our long-standing relationships with flooring partners throughout our history.
The partnership with Victorian-based Ace Seating, whom are proudly Australian owned and operated, comes at a time of significant growth in basketball. There are over 632 basketball venues currently in use every week across Victoria, with additional stadia and increased infrastructure still needed across the state.
Core Advantage
Core Advantage is the Official Strength and Conditioning Provider for Basketball Victoria. Over the last 14 years, Core Advantage has trained more Olympians than any other strength and conditioning business in Australia. Through its partnership with Basketball Victoria, Core Advantage will be delivering elite strength and conditioning programs to members of the Victorian National Performance Program (VNPP), State Development Program (SDP) and Victorian state teams.
