Concussion Policy
Basketball Victoria adopts and adheres to Basketball Australia and FIBA’s concussion guidelines as well as Sport Australia’s Position Statement on Concussion.
We understand that concussion management and treatment is an evolving space, and we aim to assist and educate the community to recognise, remove and refer players when a suspected concussion occurs, as well as adhere to the management and treatment guidelines for a return to play.
In addition, we have some league specific policies to assist the community:
Complaints Process For Allegations of Sexual Offences and Harrassment
Basketball Associations and Clubs are directed to report any Prohibited Conduct, including allegations of sexual harassment or assault, to Basketball Victoria in accordance with the Basketball Victoria Member Protection By-Laws.
