Basketball Victoria hosted the inaugural 3XCup Junior State Championships on 22-23 September at Nunwading Basketball Centre. It is the elite 3x3 pathway for clubs and associations.
Teams from various regions of the state participated, including notable country teams Mildura, Wodonga, Geelong, and Foster. They competed against metro teams, including Knox, Nunawading, Kilsyth and Eltham, just to name a few. For the first time in decades, domestic clubs and associations have once again graced the court, playing off for the title of state champions.
The caliber of competition was notably high, with participants showcasing their skills, athleticism, and flair that make the 3x3 format profoundly exciting.
