Basketball Victoria is thrilled to announce the initial seedings for the 2025 Junior Country Championship (JCC) taking place in multiple venues across the state, including Bendigo, Bacchus Marsh, Melton, and Ballarat, from February to April next year.
Along with the release of the seedings, Basketball Victoria has also published the 2025 JCC Rules of Operation document. This essential guide provides a comprehensive overview of the rules governing the events, and helps associations ensure player eligibility, offering key information to aid in the smooth preparation for the championship.
Sarah Szczykulski Country Competitions Officer Basketball Victoria is planning for a bumper 2025 JCC season and can’t wait to get all of the teams on the court! She said, "The release of the initial seedings is a vital first step for teams as they gear up for the Junior Country Championships. It gives teams an indication of where they currently stand, as well as insight into the higher-seeded teams they will need to challenge during the tournament season in order to prove they belong in a higher division."
