Association Tournaments
Throughout the calendar year, associations from right across the state host tournaments that involve simply their own association’s teams right through to the largest junior tournament in the Southern Hemisphere in the Eltham-Dandenong Tournament that hosts a large number of clubs and associations, some of which are interstate and international visitors.
To get your basketball association’s upcoming tournament posted on this page, fill out the Basketball Victoria Positions/Tournaments Form.

McKinnon Basketball Association
KINGS & QUEEN 3x3 Tournament
McKinnon Basketball Association is excited to launch the inaugural Royal Stacks KINGS & QUEENS 3×3 Tournament, coming to Bentleigh Secondary College on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026.
Held the weekend before the school holidays and immediately following the MBA Winter 2026 Saturday and Sunday Grand Finals, the tournament provides the perfect way for players to finish the domestic season with their teammates and friends.
The new tournament will bring fast-paced 3×3 basketball to McKinnon, with boys competing on Saturday and girls taking the court on Sunday.
The tournament will feature Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 age groups, with divisions available subject to registration numbers. Places are limited within each age group, so teams are encouraged to register early to secure their place.
Players can form their own teams with friends from any domestic club or basketball team, with no permits required. Teams do not need to be based on existing MBA Winter 2026 or Summer 2026/27 rosters.
Each team will consist of four players, three on the court and one substitute, and play a minimum of four pool games before the highest ranked teams progress to the finals.
McKinnon Basketball Association is delighted to welcome a new partnership with Royal Stacks Moorabbin, which will become the inaugural naming rights partner of the KINGS & QUEENS 3×3 Tournament.
Royal Stacks will help make the tournament a memorable experience for players and families, generously supporting the weekend with prizes, winner vouchers and in-venue activations across both days.
The partnership will help create a fun, energetic atmosphere as teams compete to become McKinnon’s first 3×3 KINGS & QUEENS.
Registrations are now open. Gather your teammates, choose your team name and get ready for a huge weekend of basketball and Royal Stacks fun.
