Congratulations to the talented young Victorians who have been selected to represent Australia at the Under 15 FIBA Oceania Tournament in Guam this November!
Three Victorians were selected for the Under 15 Girls team - Emilija Dakic (Vic Metro), Sitaya Fagan (Vic Metro) and Sophie Taylor (Vic Country), while six Victorians were selected for the boys team - Harrison Beauchamp (Vic Metro), Edward Brammall (Vic Metro), Ryder Cheesman (Vic Metro), Dash Daniels (Vic Country), Lachlan Kanngiesser (Vic Country) and Henry Sewell (Vic Metro).
Fresh off successful tournaments at the Under 16 Australian Junior Championships in Perth in July, the nine Victorian superstars are now set to star on the world stage.
Our Victorian representatives impressed at the recent Australian selection camp at the Centre of Excellence in mid-September and have now earned the right to represent the country in the FIBA Under-15 Oceania Championships held in Guam from November 21-26.
A big Congratulations also to our Victorian High Performance Head Coach – Country Women, Zoe Carr, who was named Head Coach of the Under 15 Girls team.
A shout out as well to our former High Performance Head Coach Metro Men and current COE Assistant Coach – Ash Arnott who was named Head Coach of the boys’ team.
