Victoria, Melbourne - Basketball Victoria is proud to celebrate the achievements of several outstanding officials who have been awarded FIBA Licences for the 2025–2027 cycle.
This milestone marks a major achievement for three Victorian referees, Shannon Jennings (Geelong), Brad Henshaw (Nunwading), and Joshua Durand (Nunawading) - who have each earned their first FIBA Licence. Their journey from local associations through Basketball Victoria’s leagues and competitions, and into the NBL and WNBL, reflects years of dedication, professionalism, and elite performance. These environments have helped shape their development and this recognition now opens the door for them to officiate on the international stage, representing Victoria and Australia among the world’s best.
These Victorian referees continue to give back to the officiating community through mentoring and coaching the next generation of referees across many of the same programs that supported their own growth.

In addition, Basketball Victoria congratulates Ruben Woolcock, Calia Hanks, and Jacqui Dover on their FIBA Licence renewals, and Trevor Nanscawen, who has been relicensed as a FIBA Commissioner for the upcoming cycle.
In addition to their outstanding on-court performance, these officials play a vital role in Victorian basketball and the NBL1 South competition by mentoring and nurturing upcoming officials.
