Melbourne, VICTORIA – Basketball Victoria is excited to announce the appointment of its 2027 State Team staff across the Under-16, Under-18, Under-20, Ivor Burge and National Junior Wheelchair programs.
The appointments bring together an outstanding group of coaches, team managers and support staff who will lead, develop and support Victoria’s emerging athletes throughout their 2027 state team journeys.
Basketball Victoria General Manager – Pathways, Dom Linossier, congratulated everyone appointed and acknowledged the important influence they will have across the state team programs.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have such a passionate and talented group of coaches, team managers and support staff leading our 2027 Basketball Victoria State teams. Their knowledge, both of the game and of the leadership of young people, commitment to coaching as a vocation and genuine nature as people will play an important role in shaping the next generation of Victorian basketballers, both on and off the court,” Linossier said.
“It is impressive to be able to appoint candidates from 36 member associations along with other specialist leaders, and we look forward to them feeling the support of the whole state as they lead our athletes.”
Each staff member brings valuable experience and a shared commitment to helping athletes grow, build confidence and proudly represent Victoria.
Basketball Victoria congratulates all staff members on their appointments and looks forward to an exciting year ahead.
