Basketball Victoria would like to congratulate the athletes selected in the 2025 Victorian Under-20 and Ivor Burge State teams for the National Championships (NC), which will be held at Ballarat in Ballarat 27th Jan – 2nd Feb.
After a period of trials, the challenging task of selecting teams from an exceptional group of elite athletes began. The process concluded with the selection of the Victorian U20 and Ivor Burge men's and women's teams, along with two U20 development ('Navy') teams and a group of emergency athletes.
The 2025 tournament will feature the U20 National Championship along with the Ivor Burge Championships which are the National Basketball Championships for players with an Intellectual Disability.
The National Championships are the pinnacle event for emerging athletes on a national stage as the teams compete to be crowned National Champion at the end of the tournament.
