Basketball Victoria is excited to announce that team nominations are now open for our 2024 Junior Country Championships (JCC) events!
Our Junior Country Championships are a highlight on the yearly calendar and it's set to be no different in 2024.
Teams from across country Victoria will hit the road to Bendigo or Mildura, dependent on age group to battle it out and be declared 2024 Junior Country Champions.
JCC Championships manager Matt Royal indicated his excitement for the Championships.
“JCC Team Nominations Open signifies the start of the tournament season for our Country representative associations isn’t too far away, try outs have occurred and the kids are full steam ahead training in preparation for their first tournament.”
“Our championships continue to grow and we are always welcoming new and returning associations to the JCC’s and we cannot wait to visit Mildura in April to experience their recently built venue.”
In 2023 we crowned eight different associations as Division 1 champions in Ballarat, Korumburra, Macedon Ranges, Moe, Traralgon, Warragul, Warrnambool and Wodonga who will be looking to continue their form as reigning Country Champions and trying to go back-to-back.
