Both teams will travel to Mackay, QLD in April for the Australian Junior Championships, with the Ivor Burge program competing under one Victorian team per gender.

Selection Criteria for Players
The Ivor Burge Championships are the National Basketball Championships for Players with an Intellectual Disability (A participant’s eligibility is based on an Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of 75 or below). You will need to have completed appropriate IQ testing and have an Ausrapid Number.
The Ivor Burge Victorian teams will comprise the best players across Victoria. Due to the Current climate and restrictions, all Victorian athletes with an Intellectual Disability are invited to register their interest, however only a limited number of places will be available and selected to attend the try-outs. Please note that no players have been pre-selected into this team, All players that receive a try-out invitation will have an equal chance at the try-outs.

The dates listed above are subject to change in conjunction with return to play guidelines and government restrictions due to the current lockdown.
Participants will be required to bring one white training top and one black training top (or a reversible singlet), club shorts, a named basketball and a drink bottle. No players should be wearing any items from previous state or national campaigns.
