Pink Round is returning this weekend for 2024! Curious about what’s on? Keep reading to find out.
Big V will celebrate all things pink this weekend to raise funds and awareness for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia (BCNA). Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, as well as over 170 men. Your support will help these women, men and families not go through their journey alone.
This weekend (25th & 26th of May), Big V will host Round 8 for Championship Divisions and Round 10 for all other divisions, giving the opportunity for all clubs to get involved in Pink Round.
On a bye this weekend, Western Port hosted their Pink Round back in Round 8 at home to front their Annual Ballin’ for Breast Cancer. Western Port had a pink merchandise stall, held an exciting raffle and even baked pink cake and cookies!

For our 2024 Pink Round, Big V has been notified of the below:
Mornington Basketball will be donating $20 for every made 3pt shot and $50 for every made slam dunk by our Youth League Men and Women, to BCNA.
Pakenham will wear pink warm-up shirts, coaches will wear pink ties and their players, coaches and Big V families will run a pink themed sausage sizzle throughout the day with all proceeds going to BCNA.
Altona Gators will don pink for the round, to raise awareness for the cause.
Wallan will be holding a raffle with all proceeds going to BCNA and will also be showcasing their new pink uniforms!
Mckinnon will be raising funds and awareness for the BCNA on Sunday 26th of May at their Big V doubleheader at GESAC.
Warrnambool will be fundraising for BCNA, and their Admin worker, Jess Bonham will be shaving her head for the cause! Go Jess!
Southern Peninsula will be donning their pink uniforms, you’ll even get free entry if you’re wearing your Domestic of Shark’s uniform.
Melton will be not only wearing pink uniform, but word is the stadium is also turning pink! They will also have a great raffle to buy tickets for.
Sherbrooke will be also playing in pink uniforms, and have some decorations!
As well as Camberwell who will also be supporting the cause on the road.
