Victorian State Team coaching applications are open!
Basketball Victoria is currently accepting applications for Victorian State Team coaching and staff positions ahead of the 2024 National Championships.
Suitably qualified and experienced individuals interested in one (1) of the following positions for each of our Victoria, Victoria Country and Victoria Metropolitan Women’s and Men’s representative state teams are encouraged to apply for these roles.
Basketball Victoria each year selects junior High Performance teams to attend Under-20 and Ivor Burge, Under-18 and Kevin Coombs Cup as well as Under-16 tournaments across Australia.
Next year’s National Championships locations TBA.
Applicants for Metro teams will need to reside in respective Metropolitan area and demonstrate an involvement with an affiliated Victorian Association.
Applicants for positions with our Victoria Under-20 Women’s and Men’s teams can be based in either Country or Metropolitan Victoria.
Short-listed candidates will be requested to attend an interview with the BV State Teams Selection Panel on the following evenings (Interview Time TBC);
- Under 20 Women and Men / Ivor Burge Women and Men
- U18 and U16 Country and Metropolitan Women and Men
- U18 and U16 Country and Metropolitan Women and Men
