We are excited to announce the four Country Basketball League (CBL) associations set to host the 2021/2022 CBL Grand Finals.
Traralgon (Gippsland), Wallan (North East), Maryborough (North West) and Horsham (South West) will host the Grand Finals on Saturday 12 February to crown the eight CBL championship winners.
To ensure everyone can watch their teams battle it out for the championship, Basketball Victoria has partnered with Sportscast Australia and Horsham Amateur Basketball Association to livestream all the CBL grand finals. The eight female and male Grand Finals, including the post-game presentations, will be available to watch via the CBL Live Game Centre on the Basketball Victoria website.
“We’d like to congratulate Traralgon, Wallan, Maryborough and Horsham for being selected as hosts for the upcoming CBL Grand Finals,” CBL Manager Matt Royal said. “These associations have shown their ability to host high quality game-nights and we’re pleased to see the Grand Finals heading to some of our smaller associations across Victoria.
“It’s been a challenging season across the league, but we’ve been impressed by our associations doing what they can to keep the Country Basketball League running.
“To get to the end of this season is a phenomenal achievement and we want to showcase these amazing teams battling it out for CBL titles across the state as well via our CBL Grand Final livestreams.”
All Women’s CBL Grand Finals will commence at 5.30pm with the Men’s CBL Grand Finals to follow at 8pm.
