Players receiving All Star 5 status are considered to be the most respected by their peers and best performers in the season.
According to CBL Manager, Sammy Cartwright, the standards of selected All Stars are raised every year.
“Congratulations to the All Star 5 recipients for 2019/20 from the North East, North West and South West Conferences,” explains Sammy.
“An extra congratulations to Robbie Sartori (Seymour), Brady Neill (Maryborough), Olivia Fuller (Bellarine), Emily Winter (Millicent), Georgia Hiscock (Horsham), Billy Hughes (Sale) and Sam Whelan (Maffra) who have been named an All Star for 3 seasons in a row!”
“Included in the list is a host of first-time winners which shows the quality of athletes that are in contention for the limited spots. The winners joined the recipients from Gippsland who were awarded in December.”
On behalf of the CBL and Basketball Victoria Country, we would like to congratulate the All Star 5 members and all those who have participated in the league throughout 2019/20.
