The amazing run of our Victorian Ivor Burge Women continues with a number of Victorian representatives selected for the Australian Pearls squad!
Our gold medal winning women will head to Canberra later this month for the Australian Pearls camp at the Basketball Centre of Excellence in June for their first training camp since 2019.
Having recently attended the Ivor Burge Championships in Mackay, Coach Larry Davidson was delighted with the number of emerging athletes who could comfortably fit into the Pearls program and work well with the established, more experienced players.
“It’s great to see all the states with strong programs, and with new talent, and so many players back on the court, realising their basketball goals” said Coach Davidson.
