Bulla Hoop Time
Bulla Hoop Time brings together school kids from across Victoria for single-day round robin tournaments held at local basketball stadiums.
The Bulla Hoop Time program offers kids in Grade 3 and 4 (junior) and Grade 5 and 6 (senior) the opportunity to play in a fun competition with qualified referees. The program culminates at the end of each year with Regional Finals and a State Grand Final day.
Bulla Hoop Time Minis is also available for Grade 1 and 2 students to have their very own Hoop Time experience! ‘Bulla Hoop Time Minis’ is held at local basketball stadiums across Melbourne. ‘Minis’ is the most FUN introduction for school kids to the wonderful world of basketball!
What division should my students play in?
Hoop Time Minis
All Grade 1 & 2 students welcome!
Mixed Rookie Division
The Rookie division is for all BEGINNERS! Kids who have never played basketball before or only for fun (i.e. not in any current domestic program). Kids who play in any form of domestic competition, no matter the grade, play in the Future Stars division.
Future Stars Division
Schools should enter mixed teams of an INTERMEDIATE standard (that is, children that play ANY level of domestic competition only.) However, it is preferred that strong or high-level A-Grade players still play in the All Stars Division if possible please.
All Stars Division
Schools should enter their best Boys & Girls teams in the All Star division (regardless of whether they play representative or domestic competition).
We truly value our involvement in Basketball Victoria’s local grass-roots competition and see this as a great opportunity to bring our 108 years of history and tradition to be a part of creating a new tradition within Victorian basketball.
As a family business, we highly value being part of a team that shares similar values of effort, team work and giving back to the community.
